1. Combatting extreme poverty by addressing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), DCT focuses its development policies and activities at the grassroots level. Our endeavors are people oriented - not institutional in nature. We strive to empower, assist, and enhance every life, regardless of creed, political affiliation, ethnicity, colour, gender, religion, or physical limitation. DCT development projects involve agriculture, livestock, and income generating projects with special care and attention to sustainability and the environment. Activities also include food security programmes, training and education, prevention of famine and famine relief, women, children, youth, and adult initiatives, solar, microfinance development, and, when possible, the integration of project components.
   

2. We do not mix evangelism as such with development; regardless, initiatives are executed that employ professional skills incorporated with high Christian standards, practices, and accountable transparency. The importance of religion in development and the success of of faith-based organizations has been noted by the UN and other global agencies, and observed within the context of DCT experience. Hence, in bringing social-economic transformation, we strive to partner and are sensitive to all people and belief systems.
